Who is eligible to use the platform?
The platform is built for the entire military-connected community, including active-duty transitioning service members, National Guard and Reserve components, veterans of all eras, and military spouses.
How do I join?

How does the MilCon Careers job-matching tool work?
Instead of using keyword-heavy, corporate-style search bars, MilConCareers.org utilizes an AI-driven Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) code translator. When you enter your military branch, duties, and codes (MOS/AFSC/Rating), the platform automatically translates your military background into transferable civilian skills—such as operations, logistics, leadership, and technical engineering—instantly matching you with relevant open career tracks.
What makes the employers on this platform different from traditional job boards?
Most standard job boards highlight companies that are merely “military-friendly.” MilConCareers.org partners strictly with “Military-Ready” employers. These are companies that have undergone customized training to understand what military skill sets are worth and have the proper internal infrastructure to support veteran integration, retention, and long-term career growth.
How do I refer someone?
You can refer someone from either a mobile device or a desktop browser. Once you are a member of our community and see a job that you think is right for someone you know, just copy the link to the job and send the person you are referring a note via e-mail, text or Facebook messenger. They can take it from there. Be sure to send along a personal note so they know why you think they would be an outstanding candidate.
What if I want to apply for the job myself?
That is terrific! Just hit the “Apply Now” button and follow the prompts. Then just open an account and upload your resume. We will review your background information and if you match the company’s criteria then you are on your way. Hope that you get the job!
How do employee referrals work on the platform?
Partnering with HR tech platform Aliro, Inc., MilCon Careers uses a mobile referral application. Because candidates hired through referrals are processed faster and have a much higher retention rate, the platform allows trusted networks, veterans, and family members to easily share direct job referral links to bypass automated application “black holes.”
What does it mean to become a "Military-Ready" employer?
Becoming Military-Ready goes past standard goodwill initiatives. Through our Military Advisory Services (MAS), our team provides a proprietary consultancy program that assesses your current hiring practices. We equip your recruiters, HR managers, and leadership with the policy structures, resources, and cultural understanding necessary to attract, hire, and successfully retain top military talent.
